What Would Jesus Do ... with a wheelchair?

e think He would donate it!

Individuals with physical disabilities in developing countries are often viewed as "burdens on society." Access to basic education, community involvement, and employment are difficult at best - and often officially restricted. It is not uncommon to find people with physical disabilities confined to their homes, unable to interact with the world around them. No one seems to be reaching out to these folks in love.

However, Christ mandates the Church to seek out those with physical disabilities, show kindness to them, invite them to be a part of the family of God, and disciple them into mature followers of Jesus Christ.

Mark 2 Ministries collects hundreds of used wheelchairs every year. Then, in partnership with our network of volunteers across the United States, we refurbish and deliver these wheelchairs to those in need throughout the world.

Not only do those in need receive wheels for the first time in their lives, they also receive a clear presentation of the gospel of Christ - and a connection with a local Church. The wheelchair offers a freedom they may never have experienced before - and the gospel offers a freedom that will change their lives for eternity!

If you would like to assist us in the collection of wheelchairs, participate in a distribution trip to El Salvador, Romania, or Vietnam - Contact Us.
