Mark 2 Ministries exists to encourage and equip the local church to evangelize, disciple, and integrate people with disabilities into their congregation.
RESPITE, RESPITE, RESPITE! At Mark 2 Ministries, we love respite! I’m excited to announce that we are broadening our current focus on the church to include the community at large. We will be doing this by offering respite care for families affected by disability. This new venture will include a stand-alone respite facility within the community run by individuals from the community. We will also be looking to forge partnerships with individuals, businesses and service providers in the areas we service to help make this facility a reality.
What we believe
God created individuals with disabilities in his image and for his glory.
Our responsibility as followers of Christ is to treat those with disabilities with kindness, respect and dignity. They are our friends, not “ministry projects.”
2 Samuel 9:3, 7
Evangelism and discipleship are the top priorities in ministering to those with disabilities.
Those with disabilities need to be nurtured in the faith to the point where they are using the gifts God has given them.
